I had a great afternoon spending some time with Wing and Gary from San Lorenzo along with their adorable daughters Mia and Emma. Wing contacted me a few weeks ago to do a family portrait session for their holiday cards. We decided early on to shoot at Wing’s alma mater, UC Berkeley. We wandered around campus…
Kim contacted me to photograph her daughter Anais to celebrate her 16th birthday. Little did Anais know that these photos were to be used for her surprise Sweet 16 birthday party. We had great fun shooting. Anais’ fun, outgoing, and goofy personality really showed in her photos.
Flash during the day? I really never thought about it, but using off-camera flash during the day can create some visually pleasing images. Today, I learned much about high-speed sync and being able to freeze motion in bright daylight. This is my favorite shot from the day.
