I wouldn’t say photography is my passion. Art is my passion. Whether it be music, performance, or visual, I enjoy being creative. I especially enjoy photographing people and capturing those moments of joy, laughter, and romance. I am a freelance san francisco wedding photographer. Born and raised in Southern California and graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Psychobiology. Since then, I have been working in the healthcare research industry. I now live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my wonderful wife and two adorable children. Since moving to the Bay area almost 4 years ago, I realized that my love for photography could be stepped up a notch. Rather than keep it to my self, I took the plunge and decided that I wanted to share my love by photographing others. Over the last few years business has grown by leaps and bounds and continues to evolve to what I hope will be a transition to a lifelong career of capturing memories for families and their generations that follow.
My shooting style can be varied depending on the mood and feel that my subjects express. We look to capture emotion. But in general, it can be characterized as timeless and classy with a little bit of a modern sophistication. I also like to add a little fine art touch to my photos. My goal is to make your images last and not make your photos look dated 10-20 years from now. But most of all, I aim for ELEGANT, MODERN, TIMELESS, and TRUE.
Check out some videos of how we work with our couples here! When I first meet with clients, I like to get a idea of who they are, what they do, and what makes them shine. From there, I get a general idea of the style of photography that will fit their personalities. For couples, it’s very important for us to get to know each other during an engagement shoot since this is the time they can get to know me and my style so that they are fully comfortable with me during their wedding. For weddings, we really work to tell the story of the day’s event. And we definitely encourage taking time to take those “WOW” shots that are forever remembered. But in the end weddings are all about fun, family and friends and most importantly, love.
I am available most weekends for weddings, family portraits, engagement sessions, model portfolio shoots, and special events. As much as I love photography, I try to limit the amount of work I take on to spend time with family. This also gives me the opportunity and time to be creative with my photography when processing your images to add that special touch that defines my style. Again, feel free to stop by anytime and check out what’s new. I’d love to get your feedback and comments.
